Rasta Funde drum is a type of drum from Jamaica, it is also known as "funde drum" or "fundeh drum" and is used in the traditional Rastafarian Nyabinghi drumming style. It is a hand-held, single-headed drum played with the hands, and typically made out of a hollowed-out log, metal or plastic container. The drumhead is usually made of goat skin or other animal hides and is stretched tight over the top of the drum using metal rings. The Rasta Funda drum is used in traditional Rastafarian drumming ceremonies and is also an important instrument in the reggae music genre.
